Standards, responsibilities, and requirements for all sellers on ImportMartBD.

Communication and Responsiveness
All sellers must remain available and responsive to communications from customers and the ImportMartBD support team at all times during business hours.
- Customer enquiries must be responded to within 24 hours.
- Order confirmations must be acknowledged promptly after placement.
- Sellers must keep their contact information up to date in their seller dashboard.
- Failure to maintain adequate response rates may result in account restrictions.
Product Listing Standards
All product listings on ImportMartBD must adhere to the following standards:
- Product titles, descriptions, and images must accurately represent the item being sold.
- Misleading descriptions, false claims, or doctored images are strictly prohibited.
- Pricing must be clearly stated in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) and must not include hidden charges.
- Stock levels must be kept accurate and updated promptly after sales.
- Prohibited or illegal products must never be listed on the platform.
Order Fulfilment and Delivery
Sellers are responsible for ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment:
- Orders must be dispatched within the timeframe stated in the product listing.
- Sellers must hand over products to the approved courier partner in good condition and proper packaging.
- Any delays must be communicated to the customer and the {SITE_NAME} support team immediately.
- Sellers are responsible for ensuring products are packaged securely to prevent damage in transit.
Performance Standards and Penalties
ImportMartBD monitors seller performance continuously. Failure to meet performance expectations may result in the following disciplinary actions:
- Formal written warning for first-time or minor violations.
- Monetary penalties for repeated missed delivery timelines or customer complaints.
- Temporary suspension of the seller account pending investigation.
- Permanent removal from the {SITE_NAME} platform for serious or repeated violations.
Performance metrics include order defect rate, late dispatch rate, cancellation rate, and customer satisfaction scores.
Business Verification Documents
To maintain a verified seller account on ImportMartBD, all sellers must submit and keep current the following valid documents:
- Trade License (issued by the relevant authority in Bangladesh).
- VAT Registration Certificate (where applicable).
- National ID Card (NID) of the business owner or authorised representative.
- Bank account details for payment disbursement.
Failure to provide or renew these documents may result in restricted account access or suspension of seller privileges until documents are submitted.
Prohibited Conduct
Sellers are strictly prohibited from:
- Listing counterfeit, pirated, or copyright-infringing products.
- Manipulating product reviews or engaging in fake review schemes.
- Contacting customers outside of the {SITE_NAME} platform for commercial purposes.
- Circumventing the platform's payment system to transact directly with buyers.
- Listing products that are illegal under Bangladeshi law.
Intellectual Property
Sellers must have the right to sell the products they list and must not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any brand or manufacturer. ImportMartBD will remove any listing found to infringe third-party intellectual property rights and may take further action against repeat offenders.
Policy Updates
ImportMartBD reserves the right to revise or update this Seller Policy at any time. Significant changes will be communicated to sellers via email or through the Seller Dashboard. Continued use of the platform after policy updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
